Add a client
Create a client, give it a budget and keywords, and fill in its overview.
A client is a website you do SEO for. Each client has its own rankings, crawls, connections, reports and budget.
- Open Add client
Go to Clients and choose Add client.
- Fill in the details
Name — how the client appears everywhere, including reports.
Domain — the site, such as
auroracycles.com.Monthly data budget in USD (optional) — a ceiling on paid lookups for this client each month. A lookup the budget can't cover is refused before any money is spent.
Keywords to track — one per line. Repeats are collapsed, since each keyword is a paid lookup on every run. You can add more later.
- Create it
Choose Create client. You're taken to the client's Overview.
Fill in the overview
A new client has measured nothing yet, so its overview shows Set up this client with four steps:
Step | What it gives you | How |
|---|---|---|
Add the keywords to track | Rankings, movers and share of voice | Add keywords on Client settings |
Crawl the site | Broken pages, missing titles and other issues, and a health score | Crawl site |
Connect Search Console and Analytics | Real clicks and visits from Google beside the rankings | |
Fetch authority and top pages | Backlinks, competitors and top pages for the domain | Refresh SEO data |
The overview also has Capture rankings, Crawl site and Refresh SEO data buttons, so you can run any of them now instead of waiting for the schedule.
The client's pages
Inside a client, the sidebar groups everything:
Overview
Performance — Rankings, Search Console, Analytics, Web analytics, AI visibility
Site — Content health, Backlinks, Competitive gaps
Planning — Brief, Assistant, Reports
Client settings — tracked keywords, competitors, connections, scheduled reports, the client portal and alerts
