Research topics, content and competitors
Topic research, Content explorer and a client's competitive gaps.
Topic research
Keywords → Topic research answers three questions:
Brand mentions — who has written about a brand lately.
Interest over time — up to five terms, one per line. It's relative: 100 is the busiest week for the most popular term, so it shows when people care, not how many.
What a domain earns from search — modelled from rankings and search volume, not measured. A client's own analytics will show a different number, and both can be right. Which parts of a site carry it breaks that down by subdomain.
Content explorer
Keywords → Content explorer finds pages by what they say, in the index Seolyticize's own crawler builds. Free to search. Filter by authority and domain, and see other domains our crawler has seen linking to each result.
Competitive gaps
A client's Competitive gaps page works from its tracked keywords:
Find competitors — who else ranks across this client's tracked keywords. One paid lookup; tracked domains and the client itself are left out.
Keyword gap — keywords competitors rank for and the client doesn't, with monthly searches, where the client sits, and estimated monthly clicks not being won.
Pages worth having — pages the client could add, with the clicks each could win.
Sites linking to rivals but not here, and Outreach — link prospects to work through.
