Authority

Seolyticize's Authority (0–100) is measured on the Common Crawl link graph of the whole crawled web — over a hundred million domains — and shows where a domain actually sits in it. It's free to look up for any domain, in the client's overview and in Site explorer.

Until a graph release has been read end to end, the score is withheld rather than estimated from a partial count. A domain the release doesn't contain shows a dash, never a zero.

Open the client's Backlinks page. Vendor data arrives with Refresh SEO data on the overview (and on a weekly sweep); the rest comes from Seolyticize's own crawler.

  • Referring domains — who links to the client.

  • Anchor text — the words those links use.

  • Links we checked ourselves — our crawler fetches each linking page and looks for the link. Free, and deliberately slow. Known links are re-checked every week.

  • Links our own crawler found — from our own index, with anchor text. A floor on the domain's links, never a total.

  • Disavow file — mark a link to add it to the file. Nothing is preselected.

Gained and lost links for the period appear on the client's overview.
