Validates hreflang as clusters of pages rather than page by page, reading it from the pages and from xhtml:link entries in the sitemaps (and flagging where the two disagree): return links (a pair Google ignores because the other page does not name this one back), x-default, valid language-script-region codes (zh-Hant-TW is one; en-uk, es-EU, en-UN and es-LA are not; a bare country such as gb or us is not a language), self-reference, targets that redirect, error, are noindexed or are canonicalised elsewhere (canonical conflicts), hreflang on a page that is itself canonicalised away, and pages in a group naming different pages for one language. Answers 'is our hreflang set up correctly' and 'why does Google show the wrong language'. Free.

Parameters

Idempotency-Keystringheader
Any unique string, up to 200 characters. A retry with the same key and body is answered from the first answer (Idempotent-Replayed: true) for a day, so it never buys or writes twice; the same key with another body is refused.
